Train to Gain Funding

Funding for courses is available from Train to Gain, the Government body set up to connect businesses with training providers. Train to Gain will pay the first £500 of any costs plus up to another £500 if this is matched by the business undertaking the training.

An initial meeting with one of our senior management team is always used to gain an understanding of your business.  This will help us to identify the training and development requirements needed to drive your business in the right direction.

•    The first £500 is available to managing directors, owner managers and company directors and does not need to be matched.
•    A further grant of up to £500 is accessible to any senior manager or the management team, which must be matched

      funded. 

This funding could be used on one or a combination of training solutions:

Creating a Sales Strategy – working along side the client to deliver a specific, achievable and relevant strategy for the business whilst ensuring it is both measurable and time bound.

Training Needs Analysis – assessing the client’s current customer facing staff at all levels to establish any training and development needs.  The output from this activity can be fed into succession planning.

Motivational maps – taking the client’s team through a process to establish each individual’s highest and lowest motivators.  The entire team can also be mapped to give an understanding of why they or may not function as a team.

Bespoke Training – packages which are created and delivered by Estadia’s senior management team to address specific issues or development needs for a business.

Training Courses – a number of courses run every month across the south west including Telesales, Essential Sales, Sales Management and Trade Sales.  These courses are suitable for individuals who have never experienced this type of training as well as those who are well experienced but would benefit from a refresher.

In order to qualify the following conditions must be met:

• You must have between 5 and 249 employees

• The training must involve or impact on the business leader(s)

• The business must not have received this funding previously

All training must have started and the grant claimed within 90 days of the grant being approved.  All grants are exclusive of VAT.  You must not have accessed previous Leadership and Management.
